A MOTHER’S STORY ~ PART 2

No Charge

Well she looked at him standing there and expecting
And a thousand memories flashed through her mind
So she picked up pen and turned the paper over and this is what she wrote:
For the nine months I carried you
Holding you inside me, No CHARGE
For the nights I sat up with you, doctored you
And prayed for you, NO CHARGE
For the time and tears
And the costs through the years
There is NO CHARGE
When you add it all up
The full cost of my love is, NO CHARGE
For the nights filled with grey
And the worries ahead

NO CHARGE
For the advice and the knowledge
And the costs of your college
NO CHARGE
For the toys, school, and clothes
And for wiping your nose
There’s NO CHARGE my son
When you add it all the real cost of my love is NO CHARGE

After that mom finished talking to her little boy
He looked up at her great big o’ tears in his eyes
And he said “Mama, I sure do love you”
And then reached out he got the letter and turned it over and he wrote in great big words
PAID-IN-FULL
When you add it all up
The real cost of my love is NO CHARGE! ~~Shirley Caesar

MISSING MAMAS

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Even if people don’t know you, they will greet women with Happy Mother’s Day! They don’t realize that simple happy greeting may bring up painful memories of life, some may want to forget? To those who’s MOTHERS are no longer in this world, that may be loveless, mean, unavailable or just MIA, ‘Let your hearts be not saddened for the LORD loves you.’ No one seems to mention this aspect of Mother’s Day?

Some may not have had so a great a Mother. Are there cards for them? We can’t chose our Mothers or families but we can chose how we respond. FORGIVE THEM because that is what our Lord would want for us. Please do not perpetuate the treatment you endured from that less than perfect mom, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles and even the beloved grandparents.

Some are fortunate enough to have great Moms and families and some are not. To those who still have their Moms and they are great Moms, cherish them. And, to those who do not, chose not to live in their pain and forgive, that is for you.

Next time you want to greet someone with a traditional greeting, be mindful that ALL ARE NOT THE SAME.

Think about it…

WEDNESDAY WISDOM

What plant did you save and keep alive? My Mother Dear had a perfect green thumb. She could plant a dry stick and it would bloom. She was a great plant lover. And, I hated everyone of them when I was growing up. Now, I wish I had paid better attention and, maybe I wouldn’t kill my plants.

Smell some flowers today!

WEDNESDAY WISDOM

  THE NEW NORMAL

NO work for approximately “SEVEN” weeks

Today, hair-stylists and barbers were allowed to return to their shops and salons, but not nail technicians?  Stylists and barbers are closer to their clients’ faces than nail technicians:  washing hair, arching brows and trimming nose hairs, etc.

Like my Mother use to say, “Get somewhere and sit down cause, you ain’t running nothing but your shoes over”.

Be safe!

WEDNESDAY WISDOM

I’m so proud of my son, he seen a kid balled up into a corner crying, so he went to console him, grabbed his hand and walked him inside of the school! It is an honor to raise such a loving, compassionate child! He’s a kid with a Big heart, the first day of school started off right 🥰💙🥰 ~~facebook

LOVE?  HAVE WE FORGOTTEN WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE…?

“Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.” Danny – age 7

If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,” Nikka – age 6

A four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.  Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman’s yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, “Nothing, I just helped him cry”.

Let’s try to show one act of kindness TODAY…WE need it.

I Remember Mama

Although, my MuDear never said these words to me and I can only imagine this type of love and longing.  This debt could never be repaid.

YOUR NAME    BEVERLY____________

For the 9 months I carried you
Growing inside me, no charge
For the nights I sat up with you
Doctored and prayed for you, no charge

For the time and the tears and the costs through the years
There is no charge
When you add it all up the real cost of my love
 Is no charge

For the nights filled with dread
And the worries ahead, no charge
For the advice and the knowledge
And the costs of your college, no charge

For the toys, food and clothes
And for wiping your nose there’s no charge
When you add it all up the real cost of my love
Is no charge

My debt was forgiven in full

When you add it all up the real cost of real Mother’s love is  CHARGE

Praise God for all of the real Mothers!
