WEDNESDAY WISDOM

I’m so proud of my son, he seen a kid balled up into a corner crying, so he went to console him, grabbed his hand and walked him inside of the school! It is an honor to raise such a loving, compassionate child! He’s a kid with a Big heart, the first day of school started off right 🥰💙🥰 ~~facebook

LOVE?  HAVE WE FORGOTTEN WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE…?

“Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.” Danny – age 7

If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,” Nikka – age 6

A four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.  Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman’s yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, “Nothing, I just helped him cry”.

Let’s try to show one act of kindness TODAY…WE need it.

Think About It ~ What we hate, we must learn to love.  What comes easy will be difficult to endure.  What comes with work will give us rest.  Riches are discovered in poverty.  Safety in place of risk.  More in place of less.

Hope Springs Eternal

As in nature, each Spring, we too have newness of life.  We want to clear out the old and began anew.  Anyway, it feels like a new beginning.

How are we to harness that power of growth and development in  our lives?   We must be willing to give up the life, we think, is best for us and give-in to the life that is waiting for us.  We must choose to use the power (THE SPIRIT) within us to achieve that end, LIFE.  Then possibly live LIFE as it was meant to be, in  . . .

Life Wisdom

Do you know what Napoleon said about China?  “There lies a sleeping giant, and let him sleep, because if he awakens, he will shake the world.”

And I believe the church is just that: a sleeping giant.  We’re asleep because we have been chloroformed by the spirit of this age.

We’re bombarded on every side by all kinds of amusement.  Do you know what amuse means?  It’s a combination of two words.  Muse means to think, and the alpha prefix in front of it means “not to.”

We are a generation that is amusing ourselves into oblivion.  And it’s time to wake up!

If this were your last day on earth, how would you spend it? In amusement? Or in evangelism?

We can make another choice?

I Remember Mama

Although, my MuDear never said these words to me and I can only imagine this type of love and longing.  This debt could never be repaid.

YOUR NAME    BEVERLY____________

For the 9 months I carried you
Growing inside me, no charge
For the nights I sat up with you
Doctored and prayed for you, no charge

For the time and the tears and the costs through the years
There is no charge
When you add it all up the real cost of my love
 Is no charge

For the nights filled with dread
And the worries ahead, no charge
For the advice and the knowledge
And the costs of your college, no charge

For the toys, food and clothes
And for wiping your nose there’s no charge
When you add it all up the real cost of my love
Is no charge

My debt was forgiven in full

When you add it all up the real cost of real Mother’s love is  CHARGE

Praise God for all of the real Mothers!

Giving Life

I remember Mama, do you?
