PEACE
Peace is not the subtraction of problems but the addition of POWER to meet those problems.
“Great PEACE have they that love Thy Law and nothing shall offend them.” ~~Psalm 119:165
Believe
“Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless. What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? where will you leave your riches?” ~~ Isaiah 10:1-3
What do you know? What are you led to do today? That life is not fair. Let’s get involved, and help those who live with injustice.
GRACE & PEACE
What does that really mean? How does that help us in our Christian walk?
The testing or trials we undergo come in various ways. Becoming a Christian will often require us to move out of our comfort zones and into the unknown. Perseverance in testing results in spiritual maturity and completeness. This is why James wrote, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds” (James 1:2). The testing of faith can come in small ways and daily irritations; they may also be severe afflictions (Isaiah 48:10) and attacks from Satan (Job 2:7). Whatever the source of the testing, it is to our benefit to undergo the trials that God allows.
However, when we are in the middle of these situations, our only prayer is often, ‘How long O LORD’? Instead, we should ask, ‘What am I to learn from this’? Be mindful in your difficulty.
PEACE
Worry
a thin stream of fear that trickles through the mind, which, if encouraged, will cut a channel so wide that all other thoughts will be drained out. –Author Unknown
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.
I Corinthians 14:33
