WHAT GUIDES YOUR LIFE?

Do you live by traditional values? Something that’s been handed down in your family, values and mores. Do you live by the world’s standards? Get all you can, can all you get and then sit on the can. Or, are you lead by the Spirit of GOD? Using the standard rule book, The Bible, with CHRIST as the center of all that you are: how you live with others, how you treat others and how you share with others. Could you do something for someone tomorrow who cannot repay you? How would that feel? Regretful, resentful or rejoiceful? Our Lord loves a cheerful giver! 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

What is it?  How do you get it?

FAITH is all around us!  We use every day:  when you plan for tomorrow(you have FAITH that tomorrow is coming) because you plan;  simply sitting in a chair(you don’t think to check to see if the chair will hold you or slide from underneath you) because you turn and sit; and walking(putting one foot in front of the other without thinking) because you move in space without falling on your face – you conquer the art of falling without thinking. . . now that’s faith.

FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.  ~Hebrews 11:1 KJV

Hope Springs Eternal

Hope Springs Eternal

As in nature, each Spring, we too have newness of life.  We want to clear out the old and began anew.  Anyway, it feels like a new beginning. 

How are we to harness that power of growth and development in  our lives?   We must be willing to give up the life, we think, is best for us and give-in to the life that is waiting for us.  We must choose to use the power (THE SPIRIT) within us to achieve that end, LIFE.  Then possibly live LIFE as it was meant to be, in  . . .

L – Love

       I – Intimacy

        F – Freedom

                    E – Empowerment
