What does INDEPENDENCE really mean? We know what it means to a country but what does it mean to the individual? Choices, freedom, living life as a free-spirit or is it interdependence? How we are to live and behave toward our fellow man. How are we to choose our individual INDEPENDENCE?
My country owes me nothing. It gave me, as it gives every boy and girl, a chance. It gave me schooling, independence of action, opportunity for service and honor. As in nature, each Spring, we too have newness of life. We want to clear out the old and began anew. Anyway, it feels like a new beginning.
How are we to harness that power of growth and development in our lives? We must be willing to give up the life, we think, is best for us and give-in to the life that is waiting for us. We must choose to use the power (THE SPIRIT) within us to achieve that end, LIFE. Then possibly live LIFE as it was meant to be, in . . .
