Once opportunity is lost, it won’t be repeated. Each opportunity is a test of the vision of the that person. What happens when you don’t take your opportunities seriously? Who do you trust to fulfill them? GOD…you? Opportunity doesn’t shout, it whispers, and our ears must be attentive. When opportunity knocks, it doesn’t kick down the door, and we had better be alert to open the door. Or, we just might miss it.
For of all sad words of tongue or pen, The saddest are these: “It might have been!” ~~J. Greenleaf Whittier
I was asked to apply the old acrylic(powder and liquid)set…OH NOOOOO. They take me toooo long to do. It’s a lot of work(for me) and it’s tedious. I’m old school and use the four-ball method. The one ball method just don’t get it for me. Here is a set that I did recently.
Took me two hours!! So…I want be doing powder acrylics soon.
What plant did you save and keep alive? My Mother Dear had a perfect green thumb. She could plant a dry stick and it would bloom. She was a great plant lover. And, I hated everyone of them when I was growing up. Now, I wish I had paid better attention and, maybe I wouldn’t kill my plants.
I too have asked, “Why me?” I know that the dark and sinful deeds of my life were motivated by a heart even darker, and yet God loved me! I was undeserving, wretched, and helpless, yet He opened His arms and His heart to me. I could almost hear Him whisper, “I love you even more than you loved your sin.”
It’s true! I cherished my sin. I protected it. I denied its wrongdoing. Yet God loved me enough to forgive me and set me FREE!
“Why me?” It’s beyond my understanding. Yet I know He loves me–and He loves you too! ~~Dave Egner(Our Daily Bread)
